The company was founded in 2006 by jewellery designer Laura Cave, with the aim of creating jobs that support traditional techniques and skills from around the world. From crocheted silverwork to beautifully carved tangua pendants, Just Trade’s distinctive products are handmade with care from locally sourced and ethical materials where possible.
The River Collection is handmade from recycled glass beads by skilled artisans in East Java, Indonesia, who are paid a fair wage for their work.Â
